Our weekend boot camps are boots-on-the-ground programs that focus on getting you into the great outdoors. You should be of intermediate plus fitness level as we will be doing triathlons of biking, hiking and kayaking. There will also be yoga and spin with optional on-your-own-time swimming and weight training.
We are located 30 minutes from the George Washington Bridge (less than an hour from NYC) and we are surrounded by 70,000 acres of forever wild parkland within the Ramapo Mountains. There are trails and lakes in every direction and we will be biking on 7 Lakes Drive, a favorite of the cycling community. The hikes will include a brookside trail run at Reeves Meadow and ridge line climbs with nearly 2,000 feet of elevation gain on 7 Hills Trail.
Our stylish guest houses
You will be staying in one of our four stylish guest houses. If you put together a group you can reserve an entire house. The houses are 3-5 bedrooms with single or double occupancy available.
Enjoy the property
Feel free to arrive by noon on Friday and enjoy the property, take an afternoon spin class, swim some laps, lift some weights or take a ride on your own on one of the bikes in our fleet which includes road, mountain and e-bikes. An optional Friday dinner will be served at the historic Tuxedo Club so men be sure to bring a sport coat, white jeans or slacks, ladies we know you know what to bring… or stay on property and have a casual dinner.
Boot Camp Activities
Saturday and Sunday will be a mix of led rides, hikes, kayaking, spin and yoga with about 10 to 12 hours of training for the two days.
You will depart Sunday late afternoon.
Boot Camp rates
All activities and meals are included, cocktails are optional. The rate for 3 days and two nights is $1,200 per person for double occupancy and $1,500 per person for single occupancy. We have king, queen and twin rooms. You may select your preference when booking, they are offered on first come first reserved basis.

Boot Camp Sample Day
- 9:00 am – 10:00 am Light breakfast to fuel up for the day
- 10:30 am Foam Roll Ride
- 11:00 am Bike ride
22 mile ride to Lake Tiorati and back with a stop at Reeves Meadow to hike
- 12:30 pm – 2:30pm Hike
After a light bite to keep you going, we start a 2 hour roundtrip hike to Pine Meadow Lake
- 3 pm Return to Valley Rock fitness center
- 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm Ashtanga Yoga
- 5 pm Chill by the pool, work out at the gym or just head back to your room and relax
- 7:30 pm Dinner is served
- You will complete a minimum of 5 – 6 hours of fitness activities
