Sync it Up! is a two-night, three-day bohemian luxury immersion retreat at Valley Rock Inn.
During this transformative experience, you’ll learn to synchronize your heart, your brain, and your vision to create the life of your wildest dreams.
When these energy flows are aligned, you take a quantum leap in your progress. This alignment will help you manifest your vision by activating your innate ability to create.
The retreat incorporates the entirety of the Exploring Consciousness workshop from the world-renowned Monroe Institute. We will explore hemispheric synchronization using the Monroe Institute’s groundbreaking Hemi-Sync technology. Founded in 1974 by Robert A. Monroe, the Monroe Institute is a leader in exploring consciousness and human potential.
Sky Waterpeace, an outreach trainer with the Monroe Institute, will guide us through meditative and expanded states of consciousness using sound-based technology. You’ll learn to reliably activate the whole-brain state on demand, amplifying your abilities and potential.
You’ll also gain early access to Happy Time GPS, a free app I’ve developed over the past three years. This app is designed to help you clarify your vision for the life of your wildest dreams and maintain your focus on it.
It has been understood for thousands of years that, “Where your focus goes, your energy flows.” This principle is fundamental to the creation process. Happy Time GPS makes it fun and easy to keep your focus on your vision.
Why Synchronization Matters
Anyone who achieves outstanding results—elite athletes or chess masters—is tapping into whole-brain synchronization. By learning to access this state intentionally, you can amplify your own abilities in whatever you love to do.
To balance the intensity of the workshop, we’ll incorporate activities like yoga, hiking, dancing, and table tennis. These activities naturally activate the synchronized whole-brain state.
1. Synchronization of Your Heart and Brain
Heart-brain coherence is your natural state—a state where your emotions and thoughts work in harmony. The relationship between your heart and brain is the most important relationship you have. When they are synchronized, you feel good, balanced, and in flow.
In this state, the neurons in your heart guide your thoughts and actions. Your life becomes a graceful dance. When your heart leads, it feels like a ballet; when your brain takes over, you might find yourself stumbling on your own toes.
Practicing heart-brain coherence is simple and deeply rewarding. It feels good, takes only a few minutes, and can bring clarity, calm, and focus to your life.

2. Synchronization of the Right and Left Hemispheres of Your Brain
The whole-brain state, often referred to as the flow state, enhances human potential by unlocking a heightened state of consciousness. This state allows those who practice it regularly to excel far beyond the average, appearing almost “superhuman” in their abilities. When the hemispheres of the brain are synchronized, it creates an energy field that functions like a laser beam, directing energy with precision toward your focus point. In contrast, an unsynchronized brain results in a diffused energy field, like the dim light of a bulb. While most people rarely access a whole-brain state, intentional practices like Hemi-Sync can enable anyone to tap into this potential and rise to their personal best.

3. Synchronization of Your Vision and Beliefs
By intentionally aligning your vision with your thoughts, emotions, and actions, you develop new beliefs that reflect that vision. When you focus your thoughts, emotions, and actions in a state where your two brain hemispheres are in sync, you take a quantum leap in your progress. This acceleration occurs because a whole-brain state enhances neuroplasticity, allowing your brain to rewire more efficiently and effectively.
By practicing synchronization techniques, you will feel good, naturally expand your consciousness, and open your mind to a world of possibilities.
When you have a clear vision and an open mind, the universe rolls out the magic carpet for you to take the ride of your life.
Our goal for this retreat is to introduce you to provocative feel-good practices that expand your consciousness and open your mind as you create a clear vision for your life. You’ll learn how to practice synchronization techniques on your own using the Hemi-Sync protocol and the Happy Time GPS app.
When you Sync it Up!, your heart, brain, and body work as one. This is when the magic begins. Join us for this transformative journey and take a quantum leap in your progress toward creating the life of your wildest dreams.
• Physical Coordination: Alternating leg and arm movements (cross-lateral motion) naturally activate both hemispheres.
• Sensory Engagement: Immersion in nature stimulates the creative right brain through sights, sounds, and smells, while navigating terrain engages the analytical left brain.
• Mental Focus: Choosing paths and adapting to changes in the environment combines logical planning (left brain) with intuitive awareness (right brain).
• Emotional Balance: The calming effect of nature lowers stress and aligns emotional and mental energy, fostering coherence.
• Physical Coordination: Poses demand balance, flexibility, and strength, requiring coordination across the hemispheres.
• Sensory Engagement: Awareness of body positioning integrates sensory and spatial functions between the left and right hemispheres.
• Mental Focus: Mindful attention to breath and movement enhances mental clarity, aligning the hemispheres for whole-brain activity.
• Emotional Balance: Breathwork and meditation reduce stress and create emotional harmony, supporting synchronization and coherence.
• Physical Coordination: Rapid hand-eye coordination engages both hemispheres, requiring motor control (left brain) and spatial awareness (right brain).
• Sensory Engagement: Tracking the ball’s speed and spin activates visual-spatial processing (right brain), while planning precise shots uses logical thinking (left brain).
• Mental Focus: Split-second decisions demand a blend of strategy (left brain) and intuition (right brain), fostering synchronization.
• Emotional Balance: The focus required for play reduces stress and promotes flow, harmonizing the brain’s hemispheres.
• Physical Coordination: Cross-body movements and rhythm engage both hemispheres, integrating motor precision (left brain) and creativity (right brain).
• Sensory Engagement: Music stimulates the intuitive right brain, while remembering choreography and staying on beat activates the analytical left brain.
• Mental Focus: Staying in sync with rhythm and movements requires whole-brain integration, blending logical timing with creative expression.
• Emotional Balance: Emotional expression through dance harmonizes the brain’s logic and creativity, promoting synchronization.
The BioCharger is a new piece of energy equipment that we are trying. I decided to get one to experiment with because Tony Robbins has seven of them. He seems to know what works. You are free to use it while you are here. One of the things I like about it is that the BioCharger folks say you only need to sit by it for 15 minutes. More information will be provided.
Sync it Up! is an all-inclusive retreat.
You will never go hungry. We have an on-site organic market with green juice on tap. You can help yourself anytime you like. We have two restaurant kitchens, and we are known for our many dining venues throughout the property to keep each meal interesting. Our food is fresh and clean, and we offer extensive proteins. You can be vegan or a carnivore. We serve wine and cocktails, with the exception of our January dates.
